Who We Are

MAYONNAISE PRODUCTIONS is a nonprofit cultural association based in Dijon, France. Our work focuses on artistic creation, live performance, public access to culture, and support for local creative communities. We help artists develop projects while also building stronger connections between people through public events, educational activities, exhibitions, and collaborative programs.

MAYONNAISE PRODUCTIONS was founded with a simple belief that culture should never feel distant or reserved for a small audience. Art belongs in everyday life. It belongs in local neighborhoods, public halls, schools, independent venues, and open community spaces where people can meet naturally. Over the years, our association has supported artistic initiatives that encourage participation rather than exclusion. We work closely with creators, volunteers, educators, and residents who want to make cultural experiences more accessible and more human.

Our nonprofit organization supports projects in music, theatre, contemporary performance, visual arts, storytelling, and interdisciplinary artistic expression. Some programs focus on young artists beginning their careers. Others focus on established creators who want to develop collaborative projects rooted in community life. We believe that creativity grows stronger when people from different experiences and generations work together. Every activity we organize is built around dialogue, accessibility, and practical community engagement.

The association also works to strengthen local cultural life in Dijon and surrounding areas by helping organize public events that bring people together. These include workshops, exhibitions, artistic residencies, neighborhood events, open rehearsals, and educational programs. We regularly collaborate with independent artists, local institutions, volunteers, and residents who share the same desire to create welcoming cultural spaces where everyone feels invited to participate.

One of the most important parts of our work is supporting artists in practical ways. Many creative people have strong ideas but limited resources. MAYONNAISE PRODUCTIONS helps with production planning, event coordination, visibility, communication support, and public engagement. We understand that artistic projects often require patience, collaboration, and careful organization. Our role is not only to promote culture but also to help creators build sustainable opportunities for expression and connection.

Accessibility remains central to our mission. We actively encourage participation from people who may not traditionally engage with artistic programs. This includes students, families, seniors, people living in isolated situations, and residents looking for local cultural activities that feel open and approachable. By reducing barriers and creating welcoming environments, we help ensure that culture remains part of everyday social life rather than something distant or inaccessible.

Another important dimension of our association is education through creativity. Artistic activities can help people build confidence, communication skills, and social relationships. Workshops and collaborative projects often create moments where participants discover new abilities or reconnect with their own creativity. This process can be deeply valuable, especially in communities where opportunities for cultural participation may be limited. We see culture not only as entertainment but as a meaningful tool for social cohesion and personal expression.

MAYONNAISE PRODUCTIONS also recognizes the importance of preserving local artistic energy while encouraging innovation. Some of our activities celebrate traditional forms of performance and storytelling, while others support experimental projects that explore new ideas and new audiences. This balance allows us to stay connected to local cultural heritage while continuing to support emerging artistic voices and contemporary forms of expression.

As we continue to grow, our organization remains focused on long-term community impact rather than short-term visibility. We value consistency, transparency, and meaningful relationships with participants and partners. Every event, workshop, and cultural initiative is designed to strengthen trust within the community while supporting creative expression in practical and sustainable ways.
